Aug 31: ?We had another line break with Blina and turned out the port got infected with ecoli and salmonella.? After weeks of antibiotics and other treatments his port was removed and recovered fully. One afternoon we pushed to get him outside and we all got to see him in the courtyard. After a week they put in his third port!
We spent a week with Grams and Pops for a mini vacation. We celebrated Reid’s birthday and loved seeing everybody!
I should let him sleep in, it’s his birthday 🙁
We celebrated Reid’s first birthday at the house and had bugers, ice cream cones, and games!
Dawn and Chuck came up early for a weekend to see Reid and so we could go to a special Embers Food and Wine Festival! We also went to the Santa Fe Zoo which was so fun!
Reid got to spend a lot of time with Pops and Grams from Thursday to Sunday. We had a late Christmas and had fun playing games!
Kat went in to labor on Monday and delivered Reid at 1:04am September 18th. He weighed 7lbs 4oz and was 21″ long. Everything went great and thanks to everyone who visited. We came home Wednesday afternoon and now have been settling in very well. Say “Hi” to little Reid!
Kathleen had so much fun and would not trade her friends for anything! Except maybe more diapers?
Thank you for all the great stuff and cake for our shower. We love our family! Nora and Claire were having fun with the selfie stick.
